Vandergrift Sportsmen’s Association, Inc.
October 14, 2025
The monthly meeting was held on Tuesday October 14, 2025, at 7:00pm. Presided over by President Jim
Waltenbaugh. There were 24 members present. Meeting opened with the “Pledge of Allegiance.” The
minutes from the September meeting were passed out to all members present. A motion to accept the
minutes as read was made by Steve Milcic and seconded by Adam Karelitz. The motion was passed by
voice vote. The treasures report was not available.
OLD BUSINESS:
Jim Waltenbaugh asked if there were any more nominations for President, Vice-President, Secretary,
Treasurer, and 2 Directors. There were not any. Nominations were closed. Vote will be in new business.
Larry Laurenti and Gerald Migliorisi Fixed the mail box problem, getting it to the correct height.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
BUILDINGS
Neil Jankosky stated that equipment was being cleaned and moved from the old garage to the new one
by Larry Laurenti.
GROUNDS
Ron Henry stated that grass cutting may be done for the season.
RANGE
The new frame for the pistol range is here and needs to be placed.
ARCHERY
Adam Karelitz stated very thing is okay.
TRAP
Steve Milicic reported 82 lines shot for $410.00, and a Balance of $2483.00.
Steve gave $1000.00 to the club treasury.
Clay birds are being delivered Tuesday Oct. 21 at about 1:00pm. Help is needed.
FIVE-STAND
Jim Troiano reported 24 lines shot for $144.00, and a balance of $888.00
The 5-Stand will be closing on Oct. 15 for the season.
YOUTH DAY
Frank stated that total expenses for youth day was $8,535.30. Donation in memory of George Spiering
was $1,085.00, other donations were $557.00. Club cost was $6,892.66

MEMBERSHIP
Debbie Becker stated: About 400+ renewals have been received.
NEW BUSINESS
After voting your new Officers for 2026 are: President: Tom Becker, Vice-Pres: Frank Gray, Secretary:
Neil Jankosky, Treasurer: Larry Laurenti, Directors 2: Bob Matteo, and Steve Milcic.
Sight-in days are Sundays November: 9, 16, 23
Caution tape needs to be replaced at the pistol range.
RAFFLE
Steve Milcic won $31.00 and donated it to Youth Day.
Tom Becker won a 2026 planner, and Jim Waltenbaugh won a pen.
PAY BILLS
Bills will be Paid, report will be next meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion for adjournment was made by Roy Duff and seconded by Francis Gray. The motion was passed
by voice vote.
