1. Hello, I’m interested in joining your sportsman club. My two sons have interest in hunting and I would like to get them into the sport. I don’t have much experience with guns or hunting and I think your club would be a good place to start. My boys are 16 and 14. We live in Allegheny township and the club is close to us. I don’t have a sponsor so I’m not sure if we can get a membership or how it works.

2. Hello,
   I am emailing to see if the club his allowing guests again. I also would like to know if I can practice shooting a rifle on the pistol range. What rules do i need to follow with a rifle on the pistol range.

   1. Yes, Guest are allowed. Combat Range is only for pistols and comboys shoot rifles. Pistol Range is for any 22 caliper.
      Rules are posted at each range or you can email Jim Waltenbaugh for further information

3. I am with Boy Scout Troop 501, and we are planning a Rifle Merit Badge Weekend on the 6th and 7th of November. Would your facilities be able to accommodate us?

5. Why are AR/AK pattern rifles in pistol calipers and 22 lr prohibited on the combat range?

7. hello
   i have a question on the combat/steel target range. is a 30 cal M1 carbine rifle and ammo allowed on the combat/steel target range. the rules state no center fire rifles. but is also state straight wall cases only. just a clarification for my own knowledge. thank you for your time

    My name is Maureen, and I am very concerned about the upcoming presidential election. If Kamala Harris gets elected, she has already said that she will outlaw all assault weapons and once she does that it is very close to banning all type of guns. I am writing to your gun club to encouraging your members, that if they are not registered to vote they can still be registered by October 25, 2024. Then when the 5th of November comes, I would encourage you and all your members to the polls and vote for Trump.

11. I am 88 and moving to a retirement home in Utah near my son. I will not be renewing my membership. I have many fond memories at the club, but this is my favorite. My granddaughter was in ROTC at Pitt. She called me and said she was going to ROTC Summer Camp and needed to learn to shoot, and her dad had never taught her. I worked with her with paper sites then took her to the club with a 22 rifle and pistol and she was a natural. Now she is a major in Air Force Office of Special Investigation and outshoots all the men. Makes an old Airborne Ranger very proud.

12. I seen that 120 members have not finished their renewal process. I sent my payment and everything in October the check has been cleared through my bank. But I still have not received my new card. How do I go about getting it?

    I have not received my new membership card and i checked my account and the check has not been cashed, did you receive my renewal?

14. I’ve paid my 2025 dues, and the check has been cashed but I never received my 2025 membership card. Whom am I supposed to contact?
